On the Graduate Studies Program, full time students are allowed the normal load of 12 units or a maximum load of 14 units. In the summer or third term, the normal load is six units.
The Dean is empowered to limit the academic load of students who are employed, whether full-time or part-time, outside the University.
However, no graduate student who is employed on a full-time basis shall be allowed an academic load of more than 10 units, whether in formal courses or in thesis, in any semester unless he has the prior approval of the Dean.
