MSU at Naawan hosts system wide curriculum revisions for Fisheries and Marine Biology programs

In the changing world, any program curriculum must be evaluated and adjusted to cater the needs of the students and the society, thus making impact to the community as a whole.

As a Center of Excellence in Fisheries and a Center of Development in Marine Sciences, the School of Marine Fisheries and Technology and the College of Marine and Allied Sciences of Mindanao State University at Naawan, together with other curriculum co proponents from MSU IIT, MSU TCTO, MSU Maguindanao, MSU Sulu, MSU LNAC, MSU GenSan, MSU Buug, and MSU Marawi, conduct a Curriculum Revisions for the programs BS in Fisheries, BS in Marine Biology, Diploma in Fisheries Technology major in Fish Processing and Aquaculture, and MS and PhD programs in Aquaculture and Marine Biology on September 7 and 8, 2022 at MSU at Naawan Function House.

To compete and excel in its field, the mentioned programs under both colleges strive to meet the minimum curriculum requirements outlined in CHED Memorandum Order No. 33 series of 2021 “Policies, Standards, and Guidelines for the Bachelor of Science in Fisheries”, in CHED Memorandum Order No. 46 series of 2017 “Policies, Standards and Guidelines for the Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology Program, and in CHED Memorandum Order No. 15 series of 2019 “Policies, Standards, and Guidelines for Graduate Programs”.  view gallery
