HM OJT students in Boracay, visited by MSUN officials

The officials of Mindanao State University at Naawan headed by Chancellor Dr. Elnor C. Roa; together with Asst. Prof. Gergie A. Ambato, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs; Ms. Arleen B. Uy, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development; Ms. Rhoda P. Abary, Vice Chancellor for Admin and Finance; and Mr. Rhoy F. Castillo, Faculty and Practicum Coordinator of BS Hospitality Management, visited the Movenpick Resort and Spa Boracay, the partner resort for the BS in Hospitality Management OJT students of MSU at Naawan.
The officials were welcomed by Jeryl Tio, Food and Beverage Director; Edgardo Bruan Jr, Director of Talent and Culture; and Ma. Jimlie Aron, Talent and Culture Supervisor of Movenpick Resort and Spa Boracay.
On their visit, the resort’s management applauded the performance of MSU at Naawan’s OJT students and commended that due to their performance, the resort is willing to absorb the students once they graduate.
The officials also had a quick benchmarking of the resort’s facilities for the future development of the BS HM laboratory facilities and the MSUN Hostel.
The visit ended with positive exchange of dialogues between MSU at Naawan and Movenpick. The parties are looking forward to continue their partnership for student internship and other collaborative projects in the future. view gallery
